ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) traces its origin to 1981, with the establishment of the Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal Medical Educational and Charitable Trust (TKVTSSMECT). Building on this foundation, the visionary Founder-Chairman, Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram, established the Vinayaka Mission's College of Pharmacy, Salem, in 1982 a pioneering step that marked the beginning of Vinayaka Missions' journey in the field of education.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

With the increase in population, limited resources, and rapid industrialization, the world and mankind are facing unprecedented challenges. Addressing these challenges requires collaboration among scientists and academicians across diverse faculties and disciplines. At the same time, rapid technological advancements provide unique opportunities to mitigate these challenges and serve humanity better. This underscores the urgent need for multidisciplinary research at a faster pace.
In this context, Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) is organizing a Two-Day National Scientific Conference on "Emerging Trends in Multidisciplinary Research" (NASCENT MR-2025) on 10th & 11th December 2025 at Dr.Ganesan Learning Center 1 of Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital, Puducherry, as part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the University, marking 25 years of excellence in education, research, and societal impact.

Submit a one-page abstract (min. 500 words) on review, research or scientific topics. Contributions are invited from students, scholars, academicians, doctors, and industry experts. Submit one-page abstracts to: NASCENTMR@vmu.edu.in before 31^st October 2025.

The best three papers will be selected and awarded in both Oral and Poster Presentation categories, in recognition of the quality of research and presentation

All accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings, which will carry an ISBN number. An e copy of the proceedings will be shared with all registered participants for academic reference. In addition, the best papers will be given the opportunity for publication in reputed Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals, subject to peer review and acceptance as per the respective journal policies. Publication in these journals will involve an additional cost, payable as per the journal's guidelines.
