I had a wonderful learning experience during my semester abroad program in Malaysia. The course structure was well designed and gave me strong exposure to practical learning, research-based projects, and interactive teaching methods. Working on projects helped me improve my analytical, presentation, and teamwork skills. Studying in an international academic environment enhanced my global perspective and understanding of diverse cultures. The faculty were supportive and encouraged critical thinking and independent learning. Overall, this program enriched my academic knowledge and contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth.
I have gained practical exposure to Human Resources activities during my internship in the HR department at NLCIL.I learned about recruitment procedures, employee records and basic HR documentation.I also understood how attendance, leave and employee coordination are handled in an organisation.This internship helped me improve my communication skills and professional behaviour at the workplace.Overall, the HR internship gave me a clear understanding of real-time HR operations in an industrial organisation.
During my internship at a tax consulting and advocacy firm, I gained hands-on experience in taxation, bookkeeping, and legal documentation. I understood how financial compliance and legal advocacy work together. I assisted in preparing client files, GST returns, and case-related records. The experience improved my communication, accuracy, customer management and time-management skills. It also gave me confidence to work in professional environments and make decisions.
During my internship in Hospital Administration, I gained practical exposure to the overall functioning of a healthcare facility. I learned about patient flow management, hospital policies, and administrative coordination. The experience helped me understand admission, discharge, and billing procedures. I also observed interdepartmental coordination and the role of administration in ensuring smooth hospital operations. I developed communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills while interacting with staff and patients. This internship enhanced my understanding of efficient healthcare management and patient-centered service delivery.
Internship experience at Srinivasan Institute of Medical Sciences.It has been a truly amazing and valuable learning journey for me.Initially, I was posted in the MRD department, where I learned the basics of medical records and hospital documentation.Gradually, I understood the workflow and responsibilities of the department.After one week, I was shifted to the HR department, which greatly enhanced my interest in hospital HR practices.I am learning how to recruit the right candidates for suitable job roles.I am also gaining knowledge on effective employee interaction and coordination.Additionally, I am learning how HR policies are created in a Greenfield hospital setup.This internship is helping me connect theoretical knowledge with practical exposure.
During my internship, I was actively involved in both internal recruitment and recruitment for client companies such as Movate and Wajing. My responsibilities included shortlisting candidates’ resumes from job portals like Indeed and LinkedIn based on specific job criteria and coordinating with candidates by calling and scheduling interviews. I also supported recruitment processes related to overseas placements by following similar screening and coordination procedures. In addition, I collected and verified candidate credentials and assisted in HR induction activities by presenting company policies and company overview to the HR team. Recently, I started observing interviews, which helped me understand interview evaluation methods, questioning techniques, and real-time HR recruitment practices.
I'm sharing my internship experience at Alldigi tech in Chennai. I am interned in the recruitment department under HR. My tasks included talking to candidates, fixing interview timings, and scheduling them. I conducted online interviews, handling 50-60 candidates per day. Offline, I scheduled interviews and tracked candidate presence. It gave me insight into the company's recruitment flow. I learned how recruitment works in a company. It was a great experience overall. I got to see the process firsthand.
